Memorial for Ms. Barbara Cooke
It is with great sadness that we share the news that our long-time crossing guard at the corner of Fairmount Ave. and Chester St., Ms. Barbara Cooke, has passed away. She was a champion of our school and loved our children. In her memory, families, students, and staff are invited to leave chalk messages and drawings in her name at the corner of Fairmount Ave. and Chester St. on Tuesday, November 26 from 7:30-8:00 am. Details for funeral arrangements are listed below.

In the newest episode of Commodore Corner Update, Mr. Martin reviews some Good Things, including a visit from Mayor Catherine Pugh, a holiday party with the Baltimore Orioles, and our Winter Showcase of the Arts. Mr. Martin also shares some important reminders including procedures for car drop-off and the importance of attending school every day. Finally, Mr. Martin previews what's ahead (an early dismissal day on January 9th, Math Night on the 24th, and a Professional Development day on the 26th). Enjoy!
